¡Buenas noticias! Después de tres años desde su ‘Hesitation Marks’, Nine Inch Nails vuelve con un EP de cinco canciones, ‘Not The Actual Events’, que se lanzará el 23 de diciembre. En este trabajo toma peso Atticus Ross, confirmado de forma oficial como nuevo miembro y, según ha anunciado el propio vocalista, Trent Reznor, la música ha dado un giro inesperado.
“Era poco amistoso y bastante impenetrable lo que queríamos hacer”, dijo Reznor en un comunicado, añadiendo lo siguiente: “Es un EP porque al final era la duración más apropiada para contar esta historia”.
El nuevo material estará disponible digitalmente y de forma física.
Los estadounidenses también han anunciado el re-lanzamiento de ‘The Fragile’ (1999), un set de vinilo cuádruple que llevará por nombre ‘The Fragile: Deviations 1’. Previsto para primavera de 2017, contendrá 37 instrumentales que incluirán canciones inéditas. Según ha comentado Reznor, ‘The Fragile’ ocupa un espacio de su corazón muy íntimo:
“Estaba pasando por un momento turbulento de mi vida mientras lo hacíamos y se convirtió en una terapia para mí. Como experimento, quité todas las voces y me encontré con que la experiencia era totalmente distinta y funcionaba en otro nivel”.
